Artist Statement
My journey as an artist began unexpectedly, thanks to a dear friend who invited me to paint after I mentioned wanting to try it. She handed me a canvas, brushes, and paints — and from that moment, I was hooked. Painting quickly became my way of listening to my heart and translating its rhythm into color.
As a self-taught artist, I love the intuitive process of creation - sitting down with no plan, simply letting my soul move me. Over time, my work has evolved into a celebration of freedom and bold color. I'm especially drawn to painting women's faces; through them, I explore strength, confidence, and emotion. My goal is to portray women who are fearless and self-assured, yet radiant with warmth and joy — women who embrace life - and its endless possibilities.
My paintings are alive with energy, emotion, and unapologetic honesty. They blend modern spirit with primitive lines, playfulness with intensity, and a timeless voice that speaks to the human experience. Some of my works also reflect grief and loss — moments when painting became my way of processing pain and solitude.
What I love most about painting is the connection it creates. When someone sees one of my works and feels understood - when it expresses something they couldn't put into words — that's the greatest reward of all.
